2 oz lasts most people 3–5 months
Question 1: Will this balm leave my skin feeling greasy or cause breakouts?
Answer 1: Not at all. Because grass-fed tallow is bio-identical to your skin's natural oils, it absorbs deeply rather than just sitting on the surface. Unlike water-based lotions that evaporate, this nutrient-dense salve sinks in to repair your skin from within, leaving you with a soft, velvety glow rather than an oily residue.
Question 2: Is this product safe for my children and very sensitive skin?
Answer 2: Absolutely. We follow a 'zero-toxin' promise, using only edible-grade, ancestral ingredients. There are no synthetic fragrances, seed oils, or harsh preservatives. It is a gentle, multi-purpose healing balm that is safe for the whole family—from a mother's evening facial routine to soothing a toddler's dry patches.
Question 3: Does the balm have a 'beefy' scent since it contains tallow?
Answer 3: Not at all. We use premium, grass-fed tallow that is carefully rendered for purity. We then infuse it with a grounding blend of Lavender and Siberian Fir essential oils. This creates a calming, woodsy aroma that serves as a psychological trigger to help your mind and body decompress for a more restful sleep.

COWLICK™ TALLOW CREAM

SAY GOODBYE TO DRY, FRIZZY ENDS
Bleach, heat, and hard water strip the oils your hair is actually made of. Tallow is the closest thing to what your scalp makes on its own. Work a rice grain through your ends before bed, sleep on it, and wake up soft.
Water. Which means zero preservatives
Most creams are 70-85% water. There's nothing in this jar for bacteria to live in, so there's nothing in here to stop them
Ingredients. Thats the whole list!
Tallow, olive jojoba, Siberian fir, lavender. Four of them are food.
Ingredient nobody else will put on a label
Grass-fed beef tallow. Closest thing to the oil your scalp already makes
Hours of contact instead of ninety seconds
Put in before bed. Its works while you sleep
Why not just use conditioner?
Twenty to thirty-five ingredients, most of them water, plus the preservatives that water requires. This is Tallow, oilve, jojoba, fir, and lavender. Four of them are food.

Three reason this works when nothing else did
-
The Fat
Closest Thing to Your Own Oil
Tallow's fat profile is a close cousin to what your scalp already makes.
-
The Melt
Solid in the Jar, Oil in Your Hands
It melts at body temperature. That's why a balm makes sense at all
-
The Scent
Smells Like a Forest, Not Dinner
Siberian fir over lavender. Cold, green, and nothing like a candy store.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. Siberian fir is assertive enough that nothing else gets a word in — it smells like a cold pine forest with lavender underneath. Closer to a cabin in February than anything in the hair aisle.
If you use too much, yes — that's true of every oil on earth. Start with a grain of rice, on your ends only, and stay off your roots the first week. This is also why we'd rather you sleep in it: nobody's grading your hair at 11pm, and you wash it out in the morning.
Less than you think. A grain of rice is a full application for most people. Warm it between your fingers until it turns to oil, then work it through your ends. If you look greasy, you used about four times too much.
Because it's close to what your scalp already makes. Bleach, heat, and hard water strip those oils out, and most products replace them with something water-based that sits on top and evaporates by lunch. Tallow melts at body temperature and stays.
Three to five months for most people. There's no water in this — most creams are 70–85% water, so an 8 oz jar is about 2 oz of product and 6 oz of something you paid to ship. A rice grain is a full application.
